13 Coins Vancouver: A Culinary Gem on the Waterfront

I ordered ahead for pick up: Caesar salad and a BOWL of French onion soup which was quite disappointingly small (as pictured, the bowl was barely over half full) and deconstructed but had pretty good flavors. Sadly, it wasn't hot. I'm sure it's better served for dine-in. I requested the Caesar to be dressed as I don't like to attempt to toss my own salad in the car. It was fresh and very flavorful. The Caesar dressing is very unique and tangy, maybe has a special kind of red wine vinegar or something? I liked it, but not as much as typical Caesar. My light/small lunch was very expensive and parking was a huge challenge just to run inside for 30 seconds. The whole experience was a hassle and disappointing for the effort and expense. I would have more happily paid half of what I did. I opted not to pay the additional $1 for utensils but received them anyway. They're flimsy and as cheap as it gets. See photo . I didn't use them I wouldn't order take out from here again, but I do look forward to dining in one day and walking off my meal for parking.

The location, service, and atmosphere were great. I ordered the Egg Florentine and a Guava Nojito. I thought the non-alcoholic Nojito was great, just the right balance of sweetness. The Egg Florentine arrived with a huge slab (best word I could come up with) of hash browns. Portion size aside, it was okay. My friend ordered a side of dressing for her Caesar salad which she didn't end up needing as it was very well dressed. Vegetarians and vegans be advised, there's not a wealth of choices. The Impossible Burger is vegan (served with vegan mayo and cheese) and there are a few other items which are clearly marked, which is appreciated. ****** Thanks for reaching out and sharing my review with your staff. 13 Coins is truly one of my favorite dining spots. I love to sit in a captain’s chair and watch the chefs in action. Kevin is the lead chef and he runs a smooth, tight ship. Such synergy! I ordered the NY steak with 2 eggs, hash browns and I added a side of sautéed spinach. Such perfection! The steak was 7 ounces and tender. When my meal was ready, Kevin personally handed it to me. I feel that he made it specially for me. He did! The coffee is a darker roast and actually tastes like coffee! One thing that I love about 13 coins is that you can order breakfast, lunch or dinner any time of day. Rachel was my server and she was delightful. Brian, the manager, came to me and we had a nice chat too. This is a first class restaurant. A diner on steroids! haha This would be a perfect place for date night. The booths look warm and cozy and the lighting is perfect too. I definitely recommend this place.

Nice restaurant on the Vancouver WA waterfront area. It's a block away from the river Very nice atmosphere, good food, full bar, and good service. They actually serve breakfast all day. I had the chicken fried steak. Very good and lots of food. We were there on a Wednesday night and it was crowded, but they did have a table for us. Place is a little pricey, but worth it. We will be going back.

Today I checked out 13 Coins on Mother’s Day on a whim and wow, was I not disappointed! I got the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs breakfast and the fried steak was cooked to perfection and they make a Bacon Gravy, which was out of this world! Portions were huge, prices were great. Highly recommend!

4/20 Back again for cocktails and appetizers. Again, food and service didn’t disappoint. Close to the AC Hotel. Our bar closed early, so we went back to 13 Coins. Perfect for a nightcap and a snack. We had the crab and artichoke dip, I could have licked the plate. It was so good. We also had the lobster Mac and Cheese, delicious. No complaints. For desert, fried ice cream with caramelized banana topping. 4/19 at 10:30 pm 13 Coins in Vancouver is a great spot for breakfast, brunch or Saturday at midnight!!! We highly recommend the biscuits and gravy and the eggs Benedict—they were both delicious. The customer service was excellent; everyone was super friendly and attentive. We also really enjoyed the live solo band—such a cool touch to the atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!

Wow!! I have a ton of food allergies and my waiter (Ray) was incredible and the managers were amazing! They checked every ingredient and met all of my food requirements. I seriously cannot believe the service we got. They were attentive, caring, and quick! The food was also very fresh (ahi was so yummy, crab artichoke dip had a ton of crab, and wagyu burger was delicious)!! Highly recommend for every meal!

Kody was my server. Customer Service was very nice. The breakfast was good. However the mild sausage was not for me. They were overcooked and a little dry. I ordered the steak salad for later and def enjoyed it. The ambiance is relaxed. If in the area, please give them a try.
